According to Sacnilk early estimates, Sunny Deol’s Border 2 has shown a massive jump at the box office on Day 3 (Sunday). The patriotic war drama witnessed a huge 35%+ growth compared to Saturday and is now heading towards a ₹50 crore net collection on Sunday.
The film opened to a strong ₹30 crore net on Friday. On Saturday, it showed solid growth by collecting around ₹36.5 crore net. With excellent word of mouth and packed theatres, Border 2 went into full force on Sunday.
Reports suggest that single screens and multiplexes recorded excellent occupancy, especially during night shows. The upcoming Republic Day holiday on Monday has further boosted audience turnout across mass circuits.
As per Sacnilk trends, the total 3-day net collection of Border 2 is expected to be around ₹115–₹120 crore. With Monday being a national holiday, the film is now targeting a ₹175 crore+ extended 4-day Republic Day weekend, making it one of the biggest opening weekends of Sunny Deol’s career.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is winning hearts with its strong patriotic theme, emotional moments, and powerful performances. The timing of the Republic Day weekend has worked perfectly in the film’s favour.
All eyes are now on Day 4 (Monday), where the film is expected to continue its dream run at the box office.
